Volta mode sees players face off in a three-versus-three game with street rules.

It’s effectively a rush mode, with no goalkeepers on either side.

And gamers are set to enjoy high-scoring games while being able to fully utilise Fifa’s epic amount of tricks and skills.

As well as 3v3 Rush, there is 4v4, 4v4 Rush, 5v5 and Professional Futsal.

Among the various maps to choose from are a rooftop in Tokyo, an underpass in Amsterdam and a tarmacked cage in London.

Fans will be able to choose a customisable male or female character, who then leads your team in story mode while also featuring in an online league option.

FIFA 20 will be released on September 27 and could feature Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar on the cover.

The original Fifa Street was first released in 2005 and was a huge hit with the public, spawning two sequels over the next three years.

However, it was another four years until the fourth edition hit shelves, and Fifa Street fans have since been left empty-handed for the next one.

Volta Football clearly doesn’t incorporate every single detail which made the original game so great.

But it appears to have enough to bring a nostalgic smile to the faces of those old enough to remember 2005’s masterpiece.
