Real Madrid could offer Gareth Bale in swap deal for Man Utd’s Paul Pogba but Eriksen still a key target

GARETH BALE and Paul Pogba's futures could become intertwined if Real Madrid propose a swap deal with Manchester United for the pair.
Both enter the summer with a great deal of uncertainty but have retained much of their value following poor campaigns.
Eden Hazard's arrival has pushed Bale further towards the Bernabeu fringes and the capture of Pogba will only add to the sentiment that he is no longer required.
As such, report that Madrid could link the Welshman's exit with a move for Pogba.
Zinedine Zidane is said to be a huge fan of his fellow Frenchman and £130million is named as enough to convince United to let him leave again.
Having splashed out £58m on Luka Jovic and a further £88m up-front for Hazard, Real may need an alternative way of affording the United midfielder.
And sending Bale the other way is an option.
Plenty of alternatives exist in the market, however, with Tottenham Hotspur playmaker Christian Eriksen still on Madrid minds.

Spurs know the player is out of contract at the end of next season and he has publicly admitted to wanting a "step up".
Fans of the North London club have urged their team to pursue Bale themselves this summer.
The winger failed to impress last season and has fallen out with Zidane numerous times, but sits on a big wage with no club reportedly ready to make a bid.
