Man Utd fans beg Woodward to sell Pogba to Real Madrid after gaffe gifts Turkey a goal in shock 2-0 win over World Cup winners

A NUMBER of Manchester United fans were pleading with Real Madrid to sign Paul Pogba after he suffered a “disaster” for France.

The midfielder’s future has been up-in-the-air for some time and he could now be heading to the Bernabeu for £150m.

But Real boss Zinedine Zidane might just be reconsidering his decision to try and add Pogba to his squad at the Bernabeu following the star’s blunder for his country last night against Turkey.

The World Cup winners were already trailing 1-0 in the Euro 2020 qualifier in Konya when the incident occurred five minutes before the break.

French defender Samuel Umtiti had attempted to clear the ball from the back but his attempt was intercepted by Burak Yilmaz.

The loose ball rolled towards Pogba’s direction as he ran in to stop the attack.

But instead of just clearing it, the 26-year-old midfielder weirdly attempted to shoulder barge Yilmaz but embarrassingly he was easily outmuscled as he tumbled to the ground.

And as he lay prone on the turf, Dorukhan Tokoz fed Cengiz Under in for the second and final goal of the game as Pogba punched the ground in frustration.

“He is honestly useless,” claimed one United fan on Twitter as the clip went viral.

Another said: “Get him to Madrid.”

As a fellow Red Devil wrote: “If Real Madrid want Pogba, I’d think all my Christmases had come at once.”

“Sooo Pogba for France seem to look pretty the same as the United one,” said one.

And another supporter said: “Pogba dropping a disaster class.”

As another concluded: “Pogba with another awful display.”

Pogba has just finished his third campaign back at United with a sixth place Premier League finish, meaning no Champions League football at Old Trafford next season.

Following the departure of Jose Mourinho in December, who he had numerous rows with, he began to hit top form again under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

He finished with 16 goals and 11 assists for United.
