Man United chief Solskjaer is aiming to revive the Red Devils, who finished sixth in the Prem last season, ahead of the new campaign.

As revealed by SunSport today, there is a trio of big-name exits expected this summer.

Veteran defender Antonio Valencia is wanted by David Beckham's MLS outfit Inter Miami after leaving Old Trafford as a free agent.

United have also opened talks with Real Madrid over the sale of Paul Pogba with president Florentino Perez weighing up whether to meet the £150m asking price.

And goalkeeper David de Gea looks set to be on his way to Paris Saint-Germain with United prepared to accept an offer between £60m and £75m.

INCOMINGS

While the Old Trafford exit is expected to be busy, there has already been a new arrival.

Welsh winger Daniel James signed from Swansea in a £15million move this week.

But the 21-year-old will face plenty of competition for a place in the starting line-up.

That will especially be the case if United sensationally bring Gareth Bale back to the Premier League, with the club exploring various options.

According to reports, United are attempting an audacious bid, worth £25m, to sign Bale on loan from Real Madrid.

Bale could be joined in attack by Benfica's teen sensation Joao Felix but it would take a massive £106m offer to secure his services.

The biggest transformation is expected to be in Solskjaer's back line.

United are battling rivals Man City for Leicester's Harry Maguire and, as we exclusively revealed, the Foxes are demanding £80m for the centre-back.

That would mark a world-record for a defender, and yet it could be usurped quickly as Napoli want £84m for United target Kalidou Koulibaly.

Solskjaer is keen on young, quick, energetic players and United have already made two attempts to sign Crystal Palace right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The Eagles rejected an initial offer of £25m before also rebuffing an improved offer of £40m.

Palace are standing firm over their valuation of £60m for the 21-year-old defender.

With De Gea's exit likely, a new man is set to be between the posts at Old Trafford and it may see another bit of business with Real Madrid.

Keylor Navas, 32, almost joined United four years ago and may finally be on his way to Manchester.
