JUVENTUS are ready to sell five stars to pay for £150million Paul Pogba.

That's the claim from Italy, where reports say the Manchester United midfielder, 26, has agreed to rejoin the Serie A champs.

suggest, if Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri takes over Juve, Mario Mandzukic, Douglas Costa, Joao Cancelo, Juan Cuadrado and Mattia Perin could exit the Allianz Stadium.

Portugal right-back Joao Cancelo, 25, has been linked with United and neighbours City.

And United reportedly had a £54m bid for Brazil winger Costa, 28, rebuffed in mid-season.

Pogba played his best club football at Juventus, before returning to first club United for £90m in 2016.

And although he initially appeared rejuvenated when Old Trafford boss Jose Mourinho was replaced by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer last December, he finished the campaign tamely.

But Juve know they would have to smash their record £100m fee paid for Cristiano Ronaldo to land Pogba.

And United chief executive Ed Woodward still insists Pogba is not for sale.

Another Juventus target is Holland and Ajax skipper Matthijs de Ligt, 19, but Barcelona, United  and Liverpool seem stronger placed to land the centre-back, who shone in last Thursday's 3-1 Nations League semi-final win over England.

Meanwhile, United are ready to rival Real Madrid for Tottenham's £80m-rated Christian Eriksen, 27, as a possible replacement if Pogba leaves.

London's Evening Standard say the Dane tops United's list of potential new playmakers.

And Eriksen has also admitted he "might want to try something new".
