Man City £62million target Rodri compared to Barcelona great Sergio Busquets
MANCHESTER CITY target Rodri has been compared to Barcelona great Sergio Busquets by one of Pep Guardiola’s coaches.
The Atletico Madrid holding midfielder, 22, is the champions’ top summer target.
Rodri, 22, has a £62million release clause — but Mikel Arteta says he is worth every penny.
Busquets has been a huge part of Barca and Spain’s recent successes.
And Arteta said: “Rodri closely resembles what Busquets is.
"Few people read the game alone.
“Those who anticipate scenarios, who are mentally stable and who can be a coach in the field — like Xabi Alonso or Xavi Hernandez.”
Competition for Rodri comes in the form of Bayern Munich and Manchester United but the Citizens are said to be clear favourites.

Their cause will have been helped by news that the Spaniard is ready to force a move from Madrid.
Reports in Spain claimed on Tuesday that he informed Atletico of his desire to leave, and the club prefer a drama-free resolution to his future.
Many at City see him as a natural successor to veteran anchor man Fernandinho, whose contract is up in 2020.
