But he was shipped out by Maurizio Sarri last summer and faces being reduced to a back-up if he stays under the Italian or a new manager.

Bakayoko confirmed to : "I will go back to Chelsea. I still have a three-year contract.

"I have no choice.

"I don't know what will happen after that, but I have to go back to Chelsea. It is the only thing I know."

Prospective buyers have not been hard to find, the player claiming his agent "receives phone calls every day" about his situation.

However there is one club that he will hope to get the call from: PSG.

“For sure, one day I would like to play in Paris," he continued.

"I cannot lie about it. It’s big for me and my loved ones.

"We are real Parisians.”

Bakayoko revealed his love for PSG when describing his happiness that ex-Milan sporting director Leonardo is to return to the Ligue 1 champions' setup.

"I’m glad he’s coming to Paris, it’s the club of my heart, it’s my city," the player admitted.

"I am sure he will do a good job. I wish him the best there."
