Man Utd brutally mocked by West Ham with brilliant Issa Diop tweet amid transfer rumours
WEST HAM have been applauded for brutally trolling Manchester United over their pursuit of Issa Diop with a hilarious tweet.
United failed in a bid of ยฃ45million plus Phil Jones this week but are still keen on a move.
And just to rub salt into the wounds, the Hammers posted a highlights video of the centre-back, captioned: "๐ถ Weโve got Diop, Issa Diop, I just donโt think you understand... ๐ถ"
Fans demanded the West Ham social media admin be instantly given a pay rise for their cheeky tweet.
Others commended them on their "top s***housery".
Most United fans found the funny side of things, with one replying: "Even west ham laughing at us lol."
West Ham were celebrating Diop's first anniversary at the London Stadium since signing from Toulouse for a then-club record ยฃ22million when the tweet was posted.
Hammers fans hope there will be more to come after United launched a stunning bid to take him to Old Trafford.
SunSport exclusively revealed defender Jones, 27, was included in an attempt to sweeten the deal.
