TOTTENHAM have been joined by Inter Milan in the race to sign Fulham prodigy Ryan Sessegnon.

The Fulham star, 19, has been on Spurs' radar for over a year now, but Inter Milan could attempt to steal him away from the Champions League finalists.

Last season, Sessegnon didn't set the Premier League alight like he did in the Championship the season before.

During the London club's promotion run, the full-back registered 15 goals and 6 assists, while being just 17-years-old for most of the season.

Despite failing to achieve similar numbers in England's top flight, he still managed to contribute to 8 goals, finding the back of the net twice and setting up a further six.

Not only are these numbers respectable for someone who was playing in their first full season in the top division of English football, but his team only bagged 34 goals all season.

This means the left-back made a direct contribution to almost a quarter of all goals netted by Fulham in their attempt to avoid relegation.

To achieve decent stats while playing for a team that finished up on just 26 points demonstrates his talent.

Spurs have taken notice of the England U-21 international's potential, and as recently reported by SunSport, they're even open to selling Danny Rose to bring the youngster in.

The North London club are willing to spend £35 million, but are likely to face competition from 2010 European champions Inter Milan.

According to , the Italian side's technical director, Piero Ausilio, was attending the England U-21s' clash with France earlier this week, scouting the Fulham man.

This could see Mauricio Pochettino speed up his pursuit of the rising star if he doesn't want to lose out on his signature.
