NEYMAR is ready to publicly apologise to Barcelona and say joining PSG was a mistake - as his probable Nou Camp return took another twist.
That's the claim in Spain as the £198million striker battles with his French club over a switch to Barca that could shatter his current world record fee.
Just yesterday Neymar reportedly told a WhatsApp group of former Nou camp team-mates: "Don't worry, I am coming."
And now the saga has been ratcheted up another level as suggest he is willing to speak out to help push through a reunion with Barcelona.
say Neymar is prepared to say sorry for leaving in 2017 and explain he got carried away by PSG's huge pay offer - thought to be around £900k a week.
It was also believed Neymar wanted to the the main man after four years spent slightly in the shadow of Barca's all-time great Lionel Messi.
But since then PSG have failed to turn Ligue 1 dominance into a serious assault on Champions League glory.
And speculation that Neymar is unhappy in Paris has peaked this summer.
Fellow 27-year-old Brazilian Philippe Coutinho is being linked with a part-exchange swap after struggling to match his Liverpool form following a £105m move in January 2018.

And Barcelona's France wideman Ousmane Dembele, 22, has been mentioned too as another cash-plus-players option.
But if, or more likely when, Neymar returns to the Nou Camp, he might need to swallow his pride beyond just an apology.
It seems the 97-cap superstar would have to accept five-time world player of the year Messi, 32, remaining top of the tree for wages.
