Hudson-Odoi, 18, is still to commit his long-term future to the Blues over worries of regular action.

Now claim Bayern are still keen to snap him up despite him being ruled out for several months with a torn Achilles.

The teen posted an encouraging update on his road to recovery yesterday.

He shared a clip on Twitter taking part in training drills at Chelsea’s Cobham base just two months after undergoing surgery.

Despite constant transfer speculation, Chelsea will be hoping the impending arrival of Frank Lampard will help persuade the winger to stay at Stamford Bridge.

SunSport were the first to reveal earlier this year that German giants Bayern were desperate to bring the attacker to the Bundesliga.

They have been interested in Hudson-Odoi for 12 months, but saw a £35m bid for him rejected in January.

His injury blow was expected to have put any potential move on ice until his return.

But with just 12 months remaining on his current contract, Bayern could be preparing a reduced offer over the coming weeks.

Hudson-Odoi made 24 appearances under Maurizio Sarri last season but will only put pen to paper on a new £100,000-a-week contract if he is guaranteed first-team football.

However, Blues chiefs believe Lampard will be able to provide the promise of regular action and that will persuade their prized-asset to stay in West London.
