KIERAN TIERNEY will remain a Celtic player for their pre-season tour of Austria after Arsenal failed to match his valuation.
Gunners boss Unai Emery has seen an initial £17.5million bid rejected for the Scottish left-back.
A report in claim Celtic are holding out for £25m for their star asset and it's expected a fresh bid from the Londoners will still fall short.
Tierney, a boyhood Celtic fan, is not distracted by reports over his future and has joined team-mates in preparation for the upcoming campaign.
They flew to Graz for their pre-season tour with three matches in the pipeline before their Champions League qualifier against FK Sarajevo on July 7.
If Tierney does leave Celtic Park, he will smash the club’s record £19m sale of Moussa Dembele to Lyon last year.
Everton and Napoli are also monitoring his situation while it's claimed Celtic chief Peter Lawwell is using the potential move of Aaron Wan-Bissaka to Manchester United as a negotiating tool.
Tierney is under contract until 2023 and is recovering from a double hernia operation at the end of May.
