LUCAS TORREIRA has assured Arsenal fans he is going nowhere this summer.
AC Milan are desperate to land the Gunners' midfield terrier and are thought to be preparing a bid.
Torreira, 23, only fuelled talk of an exit by admitting he found it hard to get used to life in England following his £26million move from Sampdoria last year.
New Milan boss Marco Giampaolo, who was Torreira's manager at Sampdoria, is now looking for a reunion.
But the Uruguay star, speaking ahead of his nation's Copa America quarter-final against Peru on Saturday, said: "Nobody from AC Milan has got in touch with me.
"Today I’m in the Premier [League] and happy to be part of Arsenal.
"Adapting was not easy, but I only think about the team. I’m happy to be there."
The news will be a welcome relief to the Gunners, who had no intention of letting the midfielder go unless they were offered a fee well in excess of the £26m they paid for him last summer.
Reports in Italy had claimed that Milan were prepared to offer Arsenal either Ricardo Rodriguez or Franck Kessie to sweeten any Torreira deal.

Gunners boss Unai Emery only has £45m to spend this summer, with any extra funds only coming through any player sales.
Skint Arsenal are also in the market for a new left-back to replace Spaniard Nacho Monreal, 33, whose contract runs out this summer.
However they have failed so far to match Celtic's evaluation of Kieran Tierney, with their latest £17.5m rebuffed by the Hoops for the Scottish international.
