SHKODRAN MUSTAFI has continually been on Arsenal's transfer list since the year he arrived, and now Unai Emery wants the defender gone as soon as possible.
Gunners fans lost faith in the German last season as he made error after error, contributing to their terrible form at the end of the campaign.
In particular, he gave away soft penalties in draws at Crystal Palace and rivals Tottenham Hotspur before committing a string of mistakes in the home defeat to the Eagles in April.
Mustafi's struggles led to Emery finally calling time on the centre-back's Emirates Stadium career, the club having reportedly tried to flog him every window since he signed in 2016.
BBC journalist David Ornstein told Radio 5 Live: "After the Europa League final, Unai Emery who had always put his faith in Mustafi despite a number of high-profile mistakes, decided that enough was enough with him.
"And he is no longer in favour of keeping him - so he could be sold.
"Arsenal have tried to sell him pretty much every window since they signed him."

Ornstein added that deals for William Saliba and Kieran Tierney continue to be thrashed out with Celtic holding out for a big bid for their left-back.
In addition, Arsenal are said to be after a winger and a box-to-box midfielder.
But the Gunners received a boost last night when Lucas Torreira, linked with AC Milan amid reported his reported discontent at living in England, stated that he was "happy" in the capital.
