THE arrival of Frank Lampard as manager has convinced SIX young Chelsea stars to sign new contracts at the club.
The imminent return of the club legend, with former Under-18s boss Jody Morris as his assistant, will have a significant impact on the Blues keeping their best academy talent.
According to the , budding stars Callum Hudson-Odoi, Ruben-Loftus and Andreas Christensen will pen new deals.
Hudson-Odoi was being chased by Bayern Munich and was considering leaving after a lack of opportunities under Maurizio Sarri.
But with Eden Hazard gone and Willian and Pedro ageing, Hudson-Odoi is expected to be first-choice when he returns from injury.
The 18-year-old is reportedly set to sign a new five-year deal to stay at Chelsea.
Midfielder Loftus-Cheek and centre-back Christensen also considered their futures at the club last season, but will have much bigger roles under Lampard.
The Blues hierarchy are also keen to extend deals with Mason Mount and Reece James, two youngsters who impressed on loan in the Championship last season.
