Unai Emery is desperate to add the left-back to his ranks, but the cash-strapped North Londoners will have to fork out more money if they wish to secure his services.

Arsenal icon Charlie Nicholas has declared that Tierney is keen on a move to the Premier League, while ex-Gunner John Hartson slammed his former employers for their "embarrassing" bid.

Lennon has stressed Celtic aren't looking to sell the 22-year-old, but admitted they will support him whatever the outcome.

Asked whether the club had received another bid for Tierney, Lennon said: "Not that I’m aware of.

"Arsenal are aware of what we value the player at. He’s on a long-term contract, he’s an asset and we don’t want to sell him.

“It’s going to have to take a lot more than what they’ve offered the first time around to give us a decision to make.
