Man Utd fans’ anti-Glazers protest flops worse than the team last season as just 20 people show up

THE planned fans protest against Manchester United owner’s The Glazers flopped outside Old Trafford with no more around 20 in attendance.
Despite getting #GlazersOut trending on Twitter, the social media momentum failed to turn into a mass protest outside the ground today.
witnessed the protest outside the Theatre of Dreams.
He said on Twitter: “The Glazers Out protest was a big dull dud, peaking at about 20 people.
“There were more going in and out of the Megastore.”
The Glazer family took over in 2005 borrowing against Old Trafford assets and saddling the club with huge debts.
And while the club struggled on the pitch in the few years after the takeover, the fans made scarves and flags in the green and gold colours of the original Newton Heath team over a century ago to protest against the owners.

It is estimated they have cost United around £1billion facilitating the debt with interest and fees, plus there have been dividends for family members.
All this while bitter local rivals Manchester City, funded by Sheikh Mansour and the City Football Group, have pumped in around £1billion and are now top dogs in the Premier League.
And following United's disappointing sixth-placed finish, supporters have turned once again on their American owners.
