And SunSport understand that West Ham are yet undecided how they will respond to their star's request.

Arnautovic, 30, tried to engineer his departure in January after attracting interest from China.

Shanghai SIPG and Guangzhou Evergrande were ready to pay the Londoners £30million for the Austria international.

But Hammers chiefs refused to sell their ace - even if the Far East outfits would increase their offers to £50m.

He then signed a new, four-year contract, claiming that London Stadium "feels like home" and vowing to win trophies with the club.

But fast forward six months and the transfer saga is now set for a sequel.

Arnautovic has handed in a transfer request after receiving another offer from an unnamed Chinese side.

The Austrian is desperate to have his wishes granted this time and be allowed to leave.

SunSport told you before that Inter Milan had shown interest in signing the West Ham ace last month.

And their offer of £30m could have reportedly been enough to tempt the London side to sell the wantaway striker.

The Hammers star has scored 22 goals in 65 games for the club since joining from Stoke in 2017.

'LET THEM BUBBLES FLY'

Arnautovic has performed another U-turn on his plans for the future.

After West Ham blocked his January move to China - which could have seen him pocket up to £200,000 a week - he said he would have "put the offers aside" and helped the club win trophies instead.

The Austrian wrote on Instagram: "Dear West Ham fans, I guess it's no secret that there has been an offer for me and I have to admit that the offer was a very tempting one for me and my family.

"I've given 100 per cent to my club duties but I have also needed some time to talk to my club, my wife and the rest of my family.

"I have now decided to put a stop to all the writings and speculation.

"I am a professional footballer and the only thing I know in life is to play football.

"It's clear that London and West Ham feels like home for me and I hope the West Ham fans have always seen that.

"The club has pointed my career in the right direction since I joined and therefore I want to put the offers aside, help the club to climb as high as possible in the table and try to win the Cup.

"Let's focus on the rest of the this season together and let them bubbles fly."
