Sessegnon, 19, plans to leave recently-relegated Fulham and is even prepared to run down his contract which expires at the end of the upcoming season.

If Fulham don't cash in this summer they risk losing him for a tribunal fee in 12 months' time because he is under the age of 21.

The Cottagers want £45million for his signature but Tottenham are only willing to fork out £25m as it stands.

Spurs owner Daniel Levy is a tough negotiator and is willing to play hard ball.

, Tottenham may sell both their current full-backs as Poch looks towards the future.

He is open to letting Trippier leave after seeing his form fall off a cliff last season.

Napoli and Juventus remain interested with Spurs putting a £30m price-tag on his head.

Rose could be the victim of Sessegnon's arrival and conceded that he could leave Spurs this summer.

Rose said: "I don't know what the future holds now.

"I'm looking forward to a break. If I'm back at Tottenham next season, great, if I'm not - great. I'll just have to wait and see.

"It's not about regular first-team football.

“I know my age and I know how the club's run in terms of if you get to a certain age they might look to ship you on."
