BARCELONA reportedly changed their transfer strategy and are working on putting together a formidable dream team - reminiscent of Real Madrid's famous Galacticos, according to reports in Spain.
Unsettled Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar, 27, could still follow Antoine Griezmann, 28, and join the Catalans in the near future.
Former Atletico Madrid star Griezmann completed his £107million Nou Camp move after his reduced release clause was activated on July 1.
Neymar was said to be doing everything he can to force through his return to Spain - but will now have to wait until at least January to make his move.
claimed last month Barcelona are aiming incredibly high this season, planning to create star-studded teams in all their sporting sections.
And the Spanish giants want to win everything they can while obeying by the Financial Fair Play rules.
That's why they walked away from negotiations with Matthijs de Ligt, who turned out to be too expensive for the La Liga champs.
And although they will not go over the limit to bring Neymar back, Barca chiefs are hoping they can reach an agreement with PSG and consider different scenarios to achieve that.
THE NOU GALACTICOS
The Brazil star's arrival would complete the Nou Camp's very own dream team that could potentially compete with Real Madrid's Galacticos for the title of La Liga's best side ever.
An attacking quartet of Neymar, Griezmann, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez could throw down the gauntlet to Los Blancos greats: Zinedine Zidane, Luis Figo, Raul, David Beckham and Ronaldo.
In addition, Ernesto Valverde could easily shuffle his team with the Argentine maestro able to play as a false nine or on the wing.

The Barcelona boss could also drop Suarez and deploy another midfielder to provide more balance to his line-up.
However, the La Liga champions are still some way off putting the pack together.
The agent of Philippe Coutinho, who was rumoured to be used as makeweight in a possible Neymar deal in the summer, rubbished reports of any talks with PSG.
