Sky Sports and BT Sport announce Premier League live fixtures with Frank Lampard and North London derby headlining the games

SKY SPORTS and BT Sport have announced the Premier League live fixtures for the early knockings of 2019-20 - with Frank Lampard's Chelsea return and the North London derby among the early highlights.

Arsenal will take on Tottenham at the Emirates on Sunday September 1 - with Sky showing the 4.30pm kick-off.

And Sky Sports will also be showing the very first game of the season - as title-challengers Liverpool host promoted Norwich on Friday August 9 at 8pm.

West Ham vs Manchester City gets the first BT Sport broadcast of the new campaign - at lunchtime on Saturday August 10.

Wolves vs Manchester United will be the opening Monday Night Football clash, at 8pm on August 19 on Sky Sports.

Man City vs Spurs is just one other monster game in August - shown on Sky at 5.30pm on Saturday August 17.

FLYING START

Meanwhile, one of BT Sport's biggest games is Liverpool hosting Newcastle on September 14 - always one for the diary as a potential classic.

The first televised game for Frank Lampard's Chelsea will be August 11 - when they travel to Manchester United on the first Sunday of the season.

Meanwhile, on their website Sky Sports wrote: "Must-watch early-season clashes between the Premier League's 'Big Six' will be shown live on Sky Sports.

"[These include] a Super Sunday North London derby between Arsenal and Tottenham.

"Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester United are each involved in Sky Live 'Big Six' head-to-heads before the end of September."
