Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola ready to apply ‘most extreme pressure’ to get move away from Man Utd
MINO RAIOLA is set to up his efforts to ensure Paul Pogba leaves Manchester United, with Real Madrid and Juventus sniffing around.
The Red Devils fly out to Australia on Sunday for the first leg of their pre-season tour, which could become a turning point in Pogba's Old Trafford career.
Spanish newspaper AS report on agent Raiola preparing to apply the most extreme pressure to guarantee the transfer.
It is claimed that United expect the player to join his colleagues down under, despite him beginning training in the United States.
But if Raiola gets his way, Pogba might not show up in time for the friendly with Perth Glory on July 13.
Madrid are thought to be the frontrunners to secure a deal but are yet to agree on a transfer fee with Manchester United.
Their latest bid is rumoured to be worth £72million plus either Isco or Gareth Bale.
Juventus, meanwhile, need to raise funds in order to meet United's valuation.
Raiola's pressure could be an attempt to get that price tag down, the agent telling The Times that Pogba is desperate to leave soon.
The 51-year-old said: “Everyone within the club from the manager to the owner knows Paul’s wishes.
“Everyone knows the willingness of Paul to move on.
“We are in the process of that. Everyone knows what the feelings of Paul are.”
