REAL MADRID are attempting to break the impasse in their pursuit of Paul Pogba by offering Manchester United a pick of two big-name players.
Gareth Bale and Isco are said to be both on offer to the Old Trafford club, along with a £72million fee.
So far, the Red Devils have insisted on a transfer fee topping £150m but Real are reportedly only willing to pay around £130m.
While few United fans were impressed with Pogba's performances last season, the club are insistent on not letting their record signing leave easily.
That has compelled Madrid, according to , to launch a fresh approach including an experienced attacker.
Along with the £72m fee, this deal would give United the pick of either Bale or Isco in a player-plus-cash deal for Pogba.
It is widely understood that Zinedine Zidane doesn't see a future for Bale in Spain but he was known to be a fan of Isco's, despite the attacking midfielder's disappointing campaign.
In addition, Los Blancos want the Frenchman to hand in an official transfer request to up the ante in negotiations.
Mino Raiola, the player's agent, told the press during the week that Pogba wants to leave.
