Rangers boss Steven Gerrard steps up transfer chase for Leeds striker Kemar Roofe

THE Old Firm want to poach more English talent with pursuits of Kemar Roofe and George Baldock.
Rangers, who snatched Joe Aribo from Charlton earlier this summer, are keen on Leeds forward Roofe.
The 26-year-old was a hit in the first half of the season at Elland Road.
But he hit just two goals since the turn of the year - though injury did keep him out from mid March to April.
Leeds are looking for around £5million for the ex-Oxford man as they look to comply with profit and sustainability regulations.
Roofe could be a replacement for hot-headed striker Alfredo Morelos.
Colombian Morelos is edging towards the Ibrox exit, with Gers hoping to rake in around £10m from one of a number of clubs interested in last season’s 30-goal striker.
Marcelo Bielsa has already sanctioned the sale of Swedish defender Pontus Jansson.
