PAUL POGBA'S agent Mino Raiola has slammed Manchester United for not defending the player - even though the club know he wants to quit.
Superagent Raiola said in a statement: "The player [Pogba] has done nothing wrong.
"He has been respectful and professional in every way. The club knows his feelings for a long time.
"It is a shame that other people only like to criticise without the right information and I am also sorry that the club does not take any position against this.
"Hopefully there will be soon a satisfying solution for all parties."
French World Cup winner Pogba, 26, wants out of Old Trafford - and he could be the subject of a £120million bid from Juventus.
Pogba told the club he wanted to leave last month while on a promotional tour in Japan, admitting it "could be a good time to have a new challenge somewhere else".
And there is clearly tension between the World Cup winner and his team-mates after footage emerged of him appearing to clash with Jesse Lingard.
A clip posted from United's official Twitter feed showed Lingard, 26, seemingly reacting furiously towards Pogba after he said something to him on the tour of Australia.
Swedish defender Victor Lindelof then separates the pair before the camera switches to another group of players.
'PAUL WANTS TO MOVE ON'
The three-second snippet sent United fans into meltdown, with some branding the club "a joke" for airing the video.
Others claimed the season had already started disastrously with two of the club's biggest stars falling out.
And things did not appear much better during training at the famed Waca ground, in Perth today, with the pair yards from each other but apparently not talking.
Things had got so bad between Pogba and the club that Old Trafford bosses feared their record signing not showing up for pre-season.
He eventually did - in the back of a Mercedes van - but even then looked glum at the airport.
Raiola, who also looks after former Man Utd star Zlatan Ibrahimovic, said last week he was "in the process" of getting Pogba a new club.
He said: "Everyone within the club from the manager to the owner knows Paul’s wishes.
"Everyone knows the willingness of Paul to move on.
"We are in the process of that. Everyone knows what the feelings of Paul are."

It is understood Real Madrid is the preferred destination for Pogba, with the opportunity to play under midfield legend Zinedine Zidane a real attraction.
But the La Liga giants have already splashed out £300m this summer on Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic, Eder Militao, Ferland Mendy, and Rodrygo.
If Real do not have the budget to fork out United’s £150m valuation of Pogba, the 26-year-old is also open to a move back to Juventus.
