WOLVES are hungry for success this season as Nuno Espirito Santo is aiming to put together a strong pack - capable of springing a few surprises in Europe.
South American stars such as Joelinton and Edson Alvarez as well as Diego Costa have all been linked with a move to Molineux this summer.
Wolves were arguably one of the strongest ever newcomers in Premier League history last season.
They incredibly earned a spot in the Europa League qualifiers straight after their top-flight return.
Although, it wouldn't have been possible had Chinese investment group Fosun International not taken over at Molineux in 2016.
The West Midlands side splashed more than £152m on their way to the Prem - with the comeback masterminded by former Porto boss Nuno.
And Wolves are now ready to spend big again as they are embarking on their Euro journey in the second qualifying round at the end of July.
Molineux chiefs have already signed loanees Raul Jimenez and Leander Dendoncker on permanent deals.
ED MORE TALENT
While Mexico whizkid Alvarez, 21, is set to follow his countryman to England after they claimed the Gold Cup together earlier this month.
The talented and skilful defender has been targeted by Ajax, West Ham and Celtic, among others.
But reports in South America claim that the interest from Wolves is the most appealing to the CF America starlet, who has an £8m release clause in his contract.
Alvarez could be a boost to the the solid Wolves back-line led by Willy Boly and skipper Conor Coady.
Monaco wonderkid Benoit Badiashile, 18, has also been linked with a Molineux move, despite interest from Manchester United
Jonny and Matt Doherty will operate as full-backs, working hard at both ends of the pitch.
DIE HARD
The formidable duo of Joao Moutinho and Ruben Neves are set to provide for Wolves' attack again.
They picked up a solid 11 assists and scored five goals combined last season.
But those numbers will surely be improved if Nuno bolsters the front line by landing all his summer transfer targets.
Hoffenheim star Joelinton, 22, is believed to be topping his wish-list following a breakthrough season in the Bundesliga.
The versatile forward bagged seven goals and grabbed seven assists while operating freely across the final third.
Deployed behind the front two - and with the support of Moutinho and Neves - he could thrive, ensuring Wolves are more clinical in front of the goal.

Especially, if former Chelsea star Costa, 30, joins Nuno's side and partners Jimenez in the attacking line.
The Atletico Madrid striker has been heavily linked with a return to England amid the arrivals of Joao Felix and Alvaro Morata at Wanda Metropolitano.
And Wolves are understood to be in the mix for his signature, especially considering the club's strong ties to his agent Jorge Mendes.
