MANCHESTER UNITED have successfully held off Juventus' interest in Paul Pogba, according to latest reports.
Bianconeri vice-chairman Pavel Nedved confessed to the player's agent, Mino Raiola, that United's £150million price tag is out of their reach.
After signing Aaron Ramsey and Adrien Rabiot on free transfers, Juve are expected to snap up Ajax star Matthijs de Ligt this summer - a man also represented by Raiola.
And claim that the Serie A champions don't have the funds to return former star Pogba to Turin.
Despite the Frenchman experiencing difficulty in living up to his transfer fee since signing for £89m, United won't let him go cheap.
Only Juve and Real Madrid have shown interest in meeting their valuation so far this summer.
But the Old Lady dropping out of the race clears the way for Zinedine Zidane.
Currently in a summer of massive spending, the Bernabeu outfit will hope to benefit from player power as Pogba and Raiola publicly push for a move.
