PAUL POGBA finally looks as though he may want to stay at Manchester United - but it may be in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's best interests to sell him.

After all, when the French midfielder, 26, claimed he wanted a "new challenge" earlier this summer, United slapped a price-tag of £150million on his head.

Real Madrid seem the most likely to land him as they launch "Operation £200m" - and the money raised from Pogba's sale could go a long, long way for Solskjaer.

Not only has wantaway Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar "offered himself to the club", but United are looking to take advantage of Juventus' sudden influx in players.

Solskjaer is reportedly keen to sign Joao Cancelo, Blaise Matuidi and Douglas Costa in an audacious triple-swoop from the Serie A champions.

He will now test new boss Maurizio Sarri's mettle, after Juve brought in the likes of Aaron Ramsey, Matthijs De Ligt and Adrien Rabiot this summer.

Should United get those FOUR players, however unlikely, they would easily be staring at a Champions League spot square in the face... at least.

JUVE RAID

The Red Devils have already clinched deals for Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James this window - desperately adding some quality to lacking areas.

Wan-Bissaka is almost certain to start as right-back, meaning Cancelo could be pushed forward to right-wing.

While he is more naturally a defender, the Portuguese star is more than capable of playing in a more advanced position.

Cancelo's defensive know-how would also help shore up United's infamously leaky defence.

Meanwhile, Matuidi pairing-up with Nemanja Matic in front of the back-four would be a huge boost.

Then there's Costa, who would add some natural width that had been desperately lacking in recent seasons - with James providing capable back-up, while improving for future years.

Neymar should then be handed the keys to orchestrate the attack, slotting in to a roaming No10 position, drifting across to the wings and alongside Marcus Rashford when needed.

Should United complete those four monster deals, all that would be left to truly call the summer window a success would be to land Harry Maguire.

But if the money has already gone, Solskjaer is mulling over a move for Merih Demiral as a cheaper alternative.
