And according to , Milan are keen on selling Cutrone, 21, with Wolves leading the race for his signature.
Negotiations between the two sides are believed to be at an "advanced stage".
Previous reports suggested the Italians were holding out for £22million for the striker, but the sum they demand is understood to be lower.
Nuno Espirito Santo wants to bolster his attack and believes Cutrone could be a quality addition to his already-strong forward pairing of Raul Jimenez and Diogo Jota.
The Milan academy product netted nine times in 43 appearances last season.
However, he failed to score a single goal following the arrival of Genoa hitman Krzysztof Piatek in January.
Cutrone, however, finished the 2017-18 season with an impressive tally of 18 goals in 46 appearances.
