ARSENAL have splashed £15million on a one-year loan deal for Dani Ceballos.
Real Madrid's Spain midfielder, 22, follows 18-year-old Brazilian striker Gabriel Martinelli as Unai Emery's second summer recruit.
Gunners' boss boss Emery said: “We’re excited to see Dani join us.
“He is a talented player with big technical ability, creativity and precision.”
Ceballos' loan fee and wages top the £15m mark but the deal does NOT include a compulsory purchase next summer.
The former Betis star put the finishing touches to his move after Emery promised to use him regularly.
Tottenham were also keen when Real made Ceballos available.
But Emery’s assurances over first-team football made the difference.
Ceballos wants to boost his Euro 2020 chances after only making 13 starts in La Liga last term, despite Real struggling and ending up in third place.

But after he shone for Spain Under-21s this summer Real had second thoughts about selling him - instead opting for a loan.
Emery is also poised to sign Saint-Etienne centre-back William Saliba, 18, in a £27million deal.
And talks are continuing over Celtic full-back Kieran Tierney.
