Aston Villa £15m target Kalvin Phillips willing to force way out of Leeds
KALVIN PHILLIPS could put the freeze on Leeds - to make sure he gets a move to Aston Villa.
The Premier League new-boys are refusing to go beyond their latest offer of £15million.
Leeds have offered an extended contract to the 23-year-old midfielder that has little appeal.
Phillips is willing to sit it out at Elland Road this season, even if it means staying on less money.
He could then be entering the last year of his contract at Elland Road and review his future at that point.
Dean Smith has already splashed more than £100m on ten new players since winning promotion back in May.
JUST MARVELOUS
And the spending spree will continue with Club Brugge midfielder Marvelous Nakamba set to follow suit.
The 25-year-old Zimbabwe international has boycotted Brugge training sessions since returning from the African Cup of Nations.
And the Belgians are resigned to losing Nakamba, atlhough are holding out for £12million.
The midfielder wants to link up again with his former team-mates Wesley Moraes and Bjorn Engels at Villa Park.
Villa are expected to thrash out a deal in the next day or two for the Zimbabwean.
