The determined Toffees have made it clear that £65m in cash plus two players is their limit for Ivory Coast winger Zaha.

So Silva wants to throw in Cenk Tosun and James McCarthy as makeweights in a bid to tempt Palace.

MASSIVE PAY RISE

Zaha, 26, returned to training yesterday as the Londoners prepare for Saturday’s season opener against Silva’s side.

The star is on £130,000-a-week at Palace but the Toffees are willing to offer him a massive pay rise.

And the Ivorian expects to be an Everton player by the end of the transfer window, according to reports.

Everton are the last club standing in the race to sign Zaha after Palace rejected Arsenal’s bid of £40m.

The Gunners dropped out of the race to sign the 26-year-old after signing Nicolas Pepe from Lille for £72m last week.

And amid the uncertainty surrounding his future, Zaha recently posted a video of himself practising free-kicks in a Manchester United shirt.
