Leroy Sane ‘tells Man City team-mates he wants to quit and join Bayern Munich before transfer deadline’
LEROY SANE has reportedly told his Manchester City team-mates he wants to join Bayern Munich.
The German international has been linked with a move to the giants all summer.
City have held firm over their attempts to keep the 23-year-old, hoping the £135m price tag scares off the Bundesliga champions.
However, are claiming Sane has already made up his mind over his future.
And he has told the rest of Man City’s squad he wants out.
Bayern have been publicly courting the attacker all summer with manager Niko Kovac confident his club will be able to get a deal over the line.
He said: “Our leadership is very engaged in the situation there.
“I'm confident and assume that we will get him”
City boss Pep Guardiola, who watched his star limp off after just 13 minutes of action due to a knee injury in Sunday’s Community Shield triumph over Liverpool, wants the ace to stay.
But he insisted that ultimately the decision rests with Sane.

Guardiola said: “He has to decide. If he wants and there is an agreement, then it's good.
“But if he wants to leave, he can do it. We will be sad - hopefully he stays.”
Reports emerged last week that Sane and Bayern have already agreed personal terms.
His agent is believed to have thrashed out a package of around £16.6m-a-year in wages – nearly £320,000-a-week.
The winger, who earns around £90,000-a-week at the Etihad, moved to City from Schalke for £37m in 2016.
