A HEARTBROKEN Manchester United fan burnt his jersey and slammed Ed Woodward for turning the club into a “laughing stock”.
The furious supporter shared a video on Twitter with last season's United away kit going up in flames and took aim at Old Trafford vice-chairman Woodward.
It comes after deals to bring to Bruno Fernandes, Paulo Dybala, and Christian Eriksen to Manchester all fell through this summer.
Things worsened for manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after striker Romelu Lukaku was sold to Inter Milan for £76.5million but no replacement was brought in.
The devastated United fan claims he has “no strength” to support the club next season and suffer another potential sixth place finish.
He tweeted: “Dear @ManUtd.
“I'm heartbroken. My beloved club has become a laughing stock all because of that man #Woodward.
“I'm watching the coming season as a neutral. I've no strength to witness the repeat of last season #WoodwardOut.”
Woodward helped secure the signings of Daniel James, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and record signing Harry Maguire - who at £85m became the world’s most expensive defender.
United fans are still increasingly unhappy with owners The Glazers and have called for the Americans to leave the club.
Supporters are angry at the way they immediately plunged the club into more than £550m worth of debt by using loans to buy them in 2005.
Fan groups have even called to boycott MUTV.
Fans are furious at the way the Glazer family are running the club and have vowed: "don't give them another penny."
