Pogba, Ozil and Eriksen… Premier League stars who could still leave their clubs before European transfer window shuts this summer

PAUL POGBA and Mesut Ozil are among the Premier League stars that could make a move before the European window shuts.

Teams in England's top flight forked out a record-breaking £1.4billion before the transfer market closed on August 8.

The transfer window shut at the same time for Championship teams, but League One and League Two sides have until September 2.

This means that teams in the Prem can not buy anyone else, but can still sell players to clubs in other countries.

Spain, France and Germany have until August 31 to complete deals, while teams in Italy can make moves until August 18.

Pogba has been continuously linked with a move away from Old Trafford this summer amid interest from Real Madrid.

Arsenal could offload Ozil before the start of the 2019/20 campaign after he was tipped to replace Wayne Rooney at DC United.

The Major League Soccer side are one of the few clubs that could justify his whopping £350,000-a-week wage demands.

Gunners team-mate Elneny is also said to be close to leaving the Emirates after making just eight appearances last term.

He has been heavily linked to Turkish club Galatasaray, but the two clubs are yet to reach an agreement.

Unai Emery's side have reportedly not received any "firm offers" for him, but the boss is keen to cash in on the 27-year-old.

Toby Alderweireld could call time with on his career with Spurs, but his value has rocketed to £40m after his release clause expired.

Tottenham could also lose Eriksen amid links to La Liga, but Mauricio Pochettino's side will demand £80m for him.
