Frank Lampard receives Chelsea boost with Willian set to return for Super Cup Final
WILLIAN is ready to declare himself fit for Chelsea’s Super Cup final against Liverpool on Wednesday.
The Brazilian winger missed Sunday’s bruising 4-0 defeat in Frank Lampard’s first Premier League game in charge.
Willian has been working separately from the main group as he tried to regain full fitness following his return from the Copa America.
Now he is ready to hand Lampard a boost by returning to action in Turkey.
Chelsea need experience on the field.
And Willian will provide it if he comes through a training session today.
Lampard’s side looked light at Manchester United.
But Willian can provide balance after a poor opening weekend defeat at Old Trafford.

Blues boss Lampard said afterwards: “I believe we have really talented young players but, let's be clear, with the injuries we have and the fact we couldn't bring in players, this is a work in progress - to a degree.
“We will have to learn harsh lessons and correct them pretty quickly.”
Chelsea will be back in Premier League action at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
They welcome Leicester City to West London as they aim to get off the mark on home turf.
