Mesut Ozil and Sead Kolasinac have security guards and dogs patrolling their homes after being caught in a gang feud.

The two Arsenal players were attacked by knife-wielding car-jackers in North London last month, with Kolasinac chasing off the thugs.

It is understood that two men were arrested last Thursday after an altercation with their security staff - but the two stars will miss more matches.

Former Aston Villa and Fulham midfielder Sidwell warned: “A lot of the players have these dogs and on one command they’re on the attack.

“You put on the arm guard and the big shoulder, and he then comes out with the two dogs, says a command and they’re off the leash and on your arm. They drag you down.”

Speaking alongside Jonathan Walters on social media show Liquid Football, Sidwell added: “One dog can be in the region of about £25,000.

But footballers are easy targets and it won’t be long before you also see them going out with bodyguards just to go shopping.”
