ARSENAL fans have praised former striker Robin van Persie for questioning Unai Emery's tactics.
The new BT Sport pundit was quizzed on his current thoughts about the Gunners and how they are adapting under the Spaniard.
Van Persie admitted it was difficult to make judgement before suggesting Emery doesn't have his own philosophy like his predecessor Arsene Wenger and Jurgen Klopp.
The retired striker added: "I don't really see his philosophy, what is his philosophy?
"He's changing a lot. He's changing his tactics a lot and changing his playing style based on the opponent.
"You need to form a basis from your own strengths."
It caused mixed responses from Arsenal supporters on social media but plenty appeared to agree with the Dutchman.
One wrote: "Van Persie is spot on, what is Emery's philosophy?"
Another added: "Hate him or love him RvP spoke nothing but facts. Emery doesn't have any proper philosophy instilled into this team and he never will."
A third said: "Turn the TV on and first thing I hear is Van Persie calling out Emery for not having a philosophy. What a hero, a true Sir Arsene Wenger man."
