FRANK LAMPARD is still without a win as Chelsea manager after his team threw away a 1-0 lead to draw at home against Leicester.

Mason Mount’s early strike put the Blues in control at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.

But Leicester fought back in the second 45 to equalise through Wilfried Ndidi.

Brendan Rodgers’ men came close to finding a winner numerous times, with Chelsea clinging on to dear life by the end of the game.

And it was Willian's disastrous performance off the bench which had Blues fans muttering at the final whistle.

Here’s how Anthony Chapman rated the Chelsea players.

KEPA ARRIZABALAGA: 6

LATE save denied Leicester all three points in West London.

One scary moment when he was almost dispossessed by Jamie Vardy but generally looked steady between the sticks.

CESAR AZPILICUETA: 4

REECE JAMES will be licking his lips after another lacklustre performance from the ageing Chelsea skipper.

Failed to provide adequate support in attack and was easily beaten in the air by Ndidi for Leicester’s equaliser.

ANDREAS CHRISTENSEN: 5

SOME decent challenges from the Dane but still doesn’t look totally confident in the heart of Chelsea’s defence.

Was undone by some fast Leicester passes and needs to work on his leadership skills.

KURT ZOUMA: 5

SIGNS of improvement from the Frenchman but is still lacking in his decision making.

Antonio Rudiger is close to a return and needs to make the most of his chances now.

EMERSON: 5

TRIED to have an influence on the left but looked tired after playing 120 minutes against Liverpool in the Super Cup.

Still more effective than Marcos Alonso but could do with working on the defensive phase of his game.

N’GOLO KANTE: 6

ANOTHER player who needed more time to rest from Istanbul, he was busy in midfield throughout the game.

But the Frenchman missed an easy chance to put Chelsea two goals up and became sloppy with the ball at his feet in the second half.

JORGINHO: 5

TRIED to dictate play but failed to keep a lid on James Maddison.

Needs to take games by the scruff of the neck on a more regular business.

MASON MOUNT: 7

SCORED his first goal for the club and delighted fans with his work rate.

Found it hard to get on the ball in the second half but put in an impressive shift.

PEDRO: 4

APART from his chance in the first minute, the veteran winger did very little to suggest he deserves to keep his place in the team ahead of soon-to-be-fit Callum Hudson-Odoi.

Dribbled into cul-de-sacs and was wasteful with possession, leading to plenty of groans from the home supporters.

OLIVIER GIROUD: 5

HELD the ball up well early on but became clumsier as the game went on.

Still not showing enough to stake his claim as Chelsea’s first-choice striker.

CHRISTIAN PULISIC: 5

AMERICAN had his poorest game in a Chelsea shirt so far.

Couldn’t get the better of Ricardo Pereira but is sure to get better as the season goes on.

SUB – TAMMY ABRAHAM: 4

PENALTY miss against Liverpool must still be fresh in his mind, with one atrocious effort flying miles over the net late on.

SUB – MATEO KOVACIC: 4

HAD no influence on midfield and odd positioning gave Leicester a number of clear chances to grab a dramatic winner.

SUB – WILLIAN: 3

POSSIBLY one of the worst sub appearances in Premier League history, the Brazilian couldn’t even get simple short passes on target as he made a mockery of Eden Hazard’s former No 10 jersey.
