Willian disastrous for Chelsea off bench but Mason Mount shines with first goal
FRANK LAMPARD is still without a win as Chelsea manager after his team threw away a 1-0 lead to draw at home against Leicester.
Mason Mount’s early strike put the Blues in control at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.
But Leicester fought back in the second 45 to equalise through Wilfried Ndidi.
Brendan Rodgers’ men came close to finding a winner numerous times, with Chelsea clinging on to dear life by the end of the game.
And it was Willian's disastrous performance off the bench which had Blues fans muttering at the final whistle.
Here’s how Anthony Chapman rated the Chelsea players.
SUB – TAMMY ABRAHAM: 4
PENALTY miss against Liverpool must still be fresh in his mind, with one atrocious effort flying miles over the net late on.
SUB – MATEO KOVACIC: 4
HAD no influence on midfield and odd positioning gave Leicester a number of clear chances to grab a dramatic winner.
SUB – WILLIAN: 3
POSSIBLY one of the worst sub appearances in Premier League history, the Brazilian couldn’t even get simple short passes on target as he made a mockery of Eden Hazard’s former No 10 jersey.
