Mo Salah insists he is ‘happy at Liverpool’ as Egyptian laughs off Gary Neville’s transfer claims
MO SALAH has no intention of leaving Liverpool, the winger has revealed despite predictions to the contrary.
Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville boldly claimed the Egyptian would move away from Anfield in the next 12 months.
However Salah says he is comfortable on Merseyside in comments emphasising his special relationship with the fans.
Speaking to CNN, he said: "I'm happy at Liverpool.
"I'm happy in the city - I love the fans and they love me.
"I'm happy at the club."
In a pre-season debate for Sky Sports, Neville had told Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher that Salah would be off soon.
It was part of a set of predictions which also involved Manchester United winning the Premier League title before their rivals.
Neville had claimed: “Salah’s going to leave in the next 12 months, I can see it already.
“He [Carragher] knows, he won’t say it.
"He will [leave], I can absolutely guarantee it.
"I can see it, you can feel it, you can smell it."
Salah's side have won both their league fixtures so far this season and also lifted the UEFA Super Cup.

The 27-year-old remarked: "When we had one day off, I couldn't go down from the room until 9:30pm.
"When I tried to go down it was like 200 people with me. And [the EFA] say, 'Why are you complaining?'
"I complain because I'm a human being. I want to be with the players. I want to sit down and enjoy my life. We are a team, we love each other, as players we want to play something."
