Man Utd make Jadon Sancho top January transfer target in £100MILLION-plus deal
JADON SANCHO is to be Manchester United's top transfer target in January.
The Red Devils are preparing a £100million war chest to help their bid for Champions League football, and the Borussia Dortmund winger is Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's top priority.
After Romelu Lukaku was sold for £75m, and with Alexis Sanchez and Paul Pogba due to be subject to interest before the European window closes, the manager is to be handed the cash he needs.
Soskjaer is to get all the cash from the Lukaku deal to spend on new players and with a creative midfielder top of his wish list, there is only one place he will look.
Sancho, still only 19, has started the season on fire with two goals and two assists in three matches.
That included a rapid display against Bayern Munich as Dortmund beat their rivals in the German Super Cup.
And Sancho has been rewarded with a mega £190,000-a-week contract following the Red Devils' summer interest.
That makes him one of highest earning under-21 footballers in the world, but only just.
United hope to lure him to the Premier League and are desperate to secure the sort of talent that will avoid the massive revenue plunge that will occur if they fail to reach next year's Champions League.

A club source said: “The money is certainly there and Ole knows that.
“Everyone knows January is always a difficult market but if it’s the difference between keeping United in the top-four mix, the owners won’t hesitate to back the manager.”
While further cash is unlikely to come for Pogba, unless Real Madrid launch an astronomical offer for the midfielder, there is increased talk of Inter Milan or Roma securing Sanchez's signature - perhaps on loan.
