The reported how the former model glances at the camera as she steers her £130,000 Mercedes G-Wagon along the busy road while both her legs are resting on the dashboard.

Her actions, which have been captured on video, have been condemned by road safety groups.

The 25-year-old wannabe pop star posted the footage onto her Instagram page, but she has been slammed by other drivers.

She was criticised by both major road safety groups in the UK and Rodney Kumar, spokesman for IAM RoadSmart, said: “Driving in this way is downright dangerous and could have led to a tragedy for not only the occupants of this car but other people on this motorway.

"Posting a video like this to social media only makes it worse, as it shows a callous disregard for the welfare of other innocent road users – this video is nothing to be proud of, and utterly shameful.”

A Brake spokesperson added: “Resting your feet on a dashboard can be incredibly dangerous in the event of a crash, due to airbag deployment and vehicles being designed to protect those seated in a normal position.

"We strongly advise for passengers to keep their feet in a vehicle’s footwell at all times when moving, and to always wear a seat-belt.”

AA president Edmund King says Rita could find herself in trouble with authorities.

He said: "Until the advent of fully autonomous cars drivers need to keep their feet on the floor with easy access to the pedals. In the event of an emergency this driver would not be able to stop.

";This driver could easily incur penalty points without the need for VAR."

An RAC spokesman added: "Regardless of how routine driving might feel for those of us that do it regularly, it remains a very mentally demanding task, and one that every driver needs to pay their full attention to.

"This driver would clearly be unable to stop in an emergency if needed – the consequences of which could be tragic."

Rita, who grew up in Gravesend, admits she loves the luxury lifestyle that comes along with being married to a £200,000-a-week footballer.

Her Algerian international husband Riyad, 28, helped Leicester shock football by winning the Premier League in 2016.

A £60million move to Manchester City followed, and last year he played a key role in helping the club win the title as part of a domestic league and cup treble.

Rita gave an interview when he moved to City, insisting she still shops at ASDA despite her wealth.

She said: "Our lifestyle is pretty lavish as everyone wants the best and to have luxury things.

"We all want that good life and luxury lifestyle because what's everyone working hard for at the end of the day. But while it's nice to have it's not what makes you happy.

"Riyad is a really grounded and humble guy and I hope it won't change us. I love Asda as it's so convenient and you can get some nice pyjamas in there."
