A LIVERPOOL fan site urged Jurgen Klopp to sell Mo Salah and buy German wonderkid Kai Havertz.
Rousing The Kop insist Anfield chiefs should pull off another transfer masterstroke similar to selling Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona for £105million in 2018 and buying Alisson and Virgil Van Dijk with the cash.
It has been suggested 20-year-old starlet Havertz should be brought and Salah sold - with Liverpool then left with extra funds.
writer Brendan Hodrien explained: “With Michael Edwards heading up the best recruitment team in Europe, Liverpool should sell Mo Salah and go after the phenomenon Kai Havertz in 2020.
“Salah is one of the most valuable players on the planet, his ability is worth vast amounts but so is his marketability.
“During the 2018 World Cup, Salah was the most talked about player in the MENA region – the world’s fastest growing football market.
“Liverpool have proved in recent years that they can replace superstars when offered silly money for them.
“A case in point was using the Coutinho money to buy Alisson and Virgil Van Dijk, assembling the best defence in the world.
“Liverpool should sell Salah and spend half the money on Havertz. The Bayer Leverkusen wonder-kid bagged 17 goals and three assists last season, only turning 20 over the summer.”
Salah has been the club’s top scorer the past two seasons, sharing the spoils with Sadio Mane on 26 goals last term, though.
It was suggested Real Madrid had expressed interest in the Egyptian star this summer.
And Rousing The Kop believe selling the 26-year-old, along with a rumoured Nike kit deal could fund a huge transfer haul for stars Havertz, Jadon Sancho and Kylian Mbappe.

Hodrien added: “Versatile, young and malleable, Havertz would flourish under Klopp.
“With a new kit deal with Nike on the horizon, and Salah money in his pocket, it is not unreasonable to think that Edwards could replace £36.9million signing Salah (the Guardian) with two out of the three of Havertz, Jadon Sancho and Kylian Mbappe.
“Liverpool fans may moan that we aren’t a selling club, and they are right. The Reds aren’t a selling club; they are a smart club.”
