Watch Nicklas Bendtner miss countless one-on-ones in awful first Copenhagen training session following transfer for madcap ex-Arsenal striker
NICKLAS BENDTNER has still got it.
And by 'it', we of course mean terrible composure in front of goal.
The former Arsenal 'striker' was never a prolific goalscorer during his time with the Gunners.
And it looks like some things never change.
Because in footage from his first training session since his shock move to boyhood club Copenhagen, Bendtner missed countless one-on-ones.
The Danish international, 31, joined from Rosenborg on the European transfer deadline day this week.
And his new club will be desperately hoping this string of efforts are not a sign of things to come for their new forward.
The clumsy striker hits the post and the crossbar, sees efforts saved, skews wide, scuffs strikes, mishits a few and even drops a terrible dink into the goalkeeper's arms in a series of hilarious shots.
Whatever he tried, he simply could not find the back of the net.
Finally he managed to score, with a rebound from a rebound into an empty goal, before tucking a few more neat finishes away.
SHIRTS SELL OUT
Nonetheless, the signing of Bendtner has proved popular in the Danish capital.
Fans were so keen to get a 'Bendtner 32' replica shirt that the club's website crashed and adult kits have now sold out from the fan store.
Manager Martin Nohr told BT.DK: "There has been huge interest in securing our new home jersey with 'Bendtner 32' on the back, which has meant that the jersey is sold out in all sizes.
"We are at an unprecedented level in recent years when it comes to selling jerseys, and there is a huge interest in our jerseys at the moment.
"We have never sold so many jerseys in one day!"
And the ex-Juventus man is desperate to repay his new supporters with plenty of goals.
Upon signing for the rest of the year, he said: "I know it is a very special opportunity and I will do everything in my power to seize it for the next four months.
"When I was 16 and left home, there was a lot I didn't know about. Fifteen years later, I can honestly say that it feels even bigger than I dreamed.
"I'm not tired of football at all. I am hungry and motivated like never before."
