Liverpool scout £14m Turkish keeper Ugurcan Cakir as they consider transfer swoop

LIVERPOOL are weighing-up a future move for Trabzonspor goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir.

Jurgen Klopp deployed his scouts to watch the Turkish stopper, 23, in action last weekend.

claim the Reds will keep tabs on the ace after his stunning performance.

Liverpool scouts were impressed by Cakir, who made eight saves during Trabzonspor's 1-1 draw with Fenerbahce.

And he is being considered as a long term option for second choice goalkeeper behind Alisson Becker.

According to Turkish broadcaster Star TV, Bordeaux are also interested in Cakir and will monitor his progress before negotiations begin.
