Man Utd brace for TRIPLE transfer raid as Juventus eye De Gea, Bailly and Matic… and Serie A side could get them all for FREE
JUVENTUS are reportedly ready to swoop for THREE Manchester United stars next summer.
And Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be powerless to stop them leaving as their contracts are all up at the end of the season.
Gazzetta dello Sport claims Maurizio Sarri has goalkeeper David De Gea, defender Eric Bailly and midfielder Nemanja Matic in his sights.
The trio have entered the final year of their respective deals.
And Juve will apparently approach all three of them to continue their astounding record of top-class free transfer signings.
The Serie A champions bagged Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey, Paris Saint-Germain’s Adrien Rabiot and teammate Gianluigi Buffon for nothing this summer, allowing them to splash the cash on the likes of Ajax’s Matthijs de Ligt.
And should Sarri secure three more big names on free transfers in 2020, he will then have extra cash to splurge on other areas of his squad.
Spain international De Gea, 28, has been at United since 2011 and was wanted by Real Madrid for years before they signed Thibaut Courtois from Chelsea in 2018.
He has stuck with the Red Devils throughout their post-Fergie decline, and could jump at the chance to link up with perennial trophy winners Juventus.
Meanwhile, Ivorian Bailly, 25, finds himself down the Old Trafford pecking order as he looks to bounce back from yet another serious injury.
And Serbian powerhouse Matic, 31, has made just one appearance so far this season after losing his place in the team to Scott McTominay.
Should United lose all three, however, they do have possible replacements already at the club.
Goalie Dean Henderson, 22, is in his second loan spell with Premier League new boys Sheffield United and is already knocking on the door for England.
While centre-back Axel Tuanzebe, 21, has long been backed to become a key player by United fans.
Midfielder James Garner, 18, could be the ideal man to step into Matic’s boots.
And with plenty of money in the bank, Solskjaer could also opt to find replacements in the transfer market instead.
