ARSENAL boss Unai Emery has delayed naming his five captains until after the Carabao Cup clash against Nottingham Forest - but fans aren't impressed.
The Gunners chief has said all season he will have a captaincy "team" of five - but has time and time again pushed back the announcement.
The likes of Granit Xhaka and Mesut Ozil are thought to be part of the group, but the team is devoid of real leaders.
In July, Emery revealed Nacho Monreal was a certainty for the team of captains - but he has since quit to join Real Sociedad.
Now as we creep towards October, Emery is still yet to make an announcement as Arsenal's on-pitch form suffers with no consistent leader.
And Gooners are fuming, with one taking to Twitter to rant: "What other manager has five f***ing captains?"
DECLINE COMPLETE
Another wrote: "This man is a joke. Our decline is complete. We have a manager who has no idea what leadership is about.
"If he is making naming a captain an event, I wonder what he does with match tactics?
"Well, it's glaring for all to see. Emery will be lucky to still be in charge in December."
A third added: "Postponed it? Surprised he hasn’t ditched the idea!"
One even kickstarted the "#EmeryOut" hashtag - a cheeky throwback to the latter days under Arsene Wenger.

Meanwhile, Emery has taken the bizarre decision to "rest" Mesut Ozil for the Europa League game at Frankfurt - despite the German playing just 71 minutes all season.
Emery insists he left Ozil behind because he needs a rest after Sunday’s horror 2-2 draw at Watford.
But that was the player’s first game in four months and even then he was substituted with 19 minutes remaining.
