Huddersfield wonderkid Rarmani Edmonds-Green chased by THREE Championship rivals after impressive loan at Rotherham
RARMANI EDMONDS-GREEN is attracting interest from Championship trio Preston, Cardiff and Barnsley.
The Rotherham defender, 22, has been impressive for the League One leaders during a season-long loan spell from Huddersfield.
Derby are also monitoring Edmonds-Green's progress, who has six months left on his Terriers deal with the option of another year.
But the Rams' transfer potential depends on their ownership situation.
Boss Wayne Rooney recently denied reports his side face being liquidated due to their tax bill owed to HMRC.
Derby went into administration back in September and have still not found a buyer to deal with their £29.3million tax bill.
The Championship side have already been deducted 21 points for going into administration and breaching accounting rules.
They have not been in the third tier since they were promoted into the Second Division 35 years ago.

But there are now reports they could be liquidated, putting any move for Edmonds-Green in jeopardy.
Rooney however, insisted he was optimistic about the club's future.
He said: "This club will exist. This club will grow.
"I've seen the headlines in the papers the last couple of days and that's news to me. I don't think there's even an option of the club going into liquidation.
London-born Edmonds-Green has made 24 appearances for the Robins this term and is rated at £500,000 in the January window.
