What is the team news?

Tigers' boss Nigel Adkins has tried to rejuvenate the squad, with many experienced players, including David Meyler, Michael Dawson, Sebastian Larsson and Allan McGregor all departing Humberside.

In their place, Adkins has sought to bring in younger blood, with the average age of signings, including 21-year-old West Ham defender, Reece Burke being 24.1 years.

Bruce meanwhile has faced a difficult summer, without transfer funds not being readily available at Villa Park.

The former Manchester United captain has not been able to recruit any players, with experienced heads such as John Terry, Christopher Samba, and Gabriel Agbonlahor all departing.

Jack Grealish's future is also uncertain, with the young midfielder subject to interest from many Premier League clubs, including Tottenham.
